“ The Sleepy Bee is our favorite brunch spot in Cincinnati! Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or brunch all of the menu items are stellar. I could eat the veggie sandwich everyday! The service is always fantastic. The employees seem to love their work place and it's reflected in their positive attitudes and helpful nature. If you are debating trying this spot, do it! “ Favorite brunch place! Love the emphasis on local ingredients--you can taste the quality in every dish. The Avi omelette is my go-to with a side of the vegan coconut soup but they also offer a great rotation of weekly specials, including unique latte variations. Service is always top notch...I'm here often enough my order is remembered! ”

“ I went to Sleepy Bee for the first time (very late being that I've been in Cincinnati for 5 years now), and it was wonderful! I got a chai latte (not pictured), and it was so delicious. All of the lattes came in adorable mugs and were a hit. I then got an avocado toast (a staple wherever I go), and I was pleasantly surprised. I know usually people get pancakes here, but I was feeling savory. The avocado toast itself was pretty good with an egg your way on top. There was perfect seasoning on it and it was delicious. The only disappointing part were the potatoes on the side, which I found to be lacking in much flavor despite the sauce. Overall a great breakfast with friends, I'll be sure to try some of their signature pancakes when I go next time! ”

Expect it to busy and there to be a wait on a weekend but you can usually get your name on the list from the yelp app. Not pictured are the pancakes which are the best item on the menu. Fluffy and filling. They've added more tables on the floor so it can be a little tight but overall I've always had a positive experience ”
“ First time with some friends for a midweek lunch. Cool vibe and decor; menu had plenty of options for breakfast/brunch or lunch. I ordered a chicken sandwich and side salad with a cortado coffee. Everything was tasty but the amount of bacon and avocado left me searching to see if it was even on the sandwich. It was technically there but felt like it was skimpy for what the sandwich should have been. Cortado was delicious. ”
“ Glad I found this place for lunch, initially I thought it is a local cafe/diner because it has a cozy vibe. Once you sit down, waitress will tell you that they are famous for coffee and pancakes. I don't need caffeine at that moment so I just go for pancakes and scrambled eggs. They use free range eggs and other fresh veggies in my "The Avi " scrambled, delicious. I would add more eggs next time. I think the free range eggs is smaller than the cage free ones. Pancakes, that they are famous for. It is very good. The pancake itself is very standard. But the house mix syrup make all the difference. I have the seasonal pancake and the topping is cinnamon sugar + cream cheese. Never had this type of combination before and it is very well done. ”
